Weiler Completes Quest Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR) Program

Administrator will incorporate lessons and connections from prestigious community-based program.
Laura Hamlin Weiler ’00 celebrated successful completion of the year-long Leadership Metro Richmond Quest program on June 6, 2018.  Leadership Metro Richmond, founded in 1980, is a community leadership development and engagement organization with a mission to connect and educate diverse groups of community leaders, inspiring them to serve the greater Richmond region.

Weiler joins LMR's network of 2,000+ members from the business, nonprofit and governmental sectors of the greater Richmond region who have the desire to serve and the ability to lead.

Weiler said of the experience, "This was one of the most enjoyable and valuable professional experiences I have had. The unfettered access to community leaders from every sector (government, corporate, non-profit) and the range of topics covered over the entire program was tremendous.  I am thrilled to be able to bring what I learned and will continue to learn to the Trinity community, and likewise be able to share with the greater Richmond region all of the amazing things happening here at Trinity."

Over the course of the last year, Weiler has attended monthly seminars and two leadership retreats, as one of the 70 participants in this year’s program.

Weiler also noted her excitement about the timing of this program in conjunction with Trinity’s future trajectory. She said, “this dovetails beautifully with Trinity’s strategic planning process and my goals of helping our school connect more broadly with the greater Richmond area.”
