Adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock:
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have a highly theatrical, thrilling, riotous comedy. The show follows a cast of five actors who play over 150 characters and create a variety of locales (and sometimes miss their cues!) in this fast-paced tale of an ordinary man on an extraordinarily entertaining adventure. Set in the pre war 1930's, our protagonist, Richard Hannay, attempts to escape his boring life in London by venturing into a music hall to see the famous Mr. Memory. Hannay soon becomes the prime suspect in a murder and must flee to Scotland’s remote highlands. Will he save Britain from a den of devious spies?
