-International Film Festival
The International Film Festival presented by the World Language Department is this Saturday, February 22nd from 12:00 to 4:00 pm The event is a free to attend event for all TES community members, with one film session starting at 12:00 pm, followed by an intermission with student short films, and then a second session starting at 2:15 pm. There will be free popcorn and pizza for attending, and your world language teachers will offer extra credit for completing a reflection on one or two movies. 
Today's trailer is for a film called Radical, in which a new teacher uses a radical approach to ignite curiosity and unlock the potential of his struggling sixth-grade students, who face a challenging environment and are among Mexico's lowest performers.
 
-Disc Golf for Activity Credit: 
If you are interested in joining the Disc Golf Team for an activity credit this spring, please see Mr. Ferro in room E-3 any day next week 2/24 to 2/28 during Discovery for information. Please note that spots on the team are limited, so priority will be given to students who need to fulfill an activity credit. The Disc Golf Team will have its first practice on Monday, March 3. 
 
-IB Fair: Have you been debating which Social Studies, Science or Arts courses to take next year? Are you interested in pieces of the IB Core: EE, TOK, CAS? Come out to the IB Fair on Thursday, Feb 27th, during Discovery, in the gym.
 
-Seniors: Please check your email for a survey about Busch Gardens. We need your response by tomorrow. Less than half of the senior class has taken the survey. Please finish ASAP.
 
-Congratulations to girls varsity basketball for their victory and advancing to the championship of the LIS tournament
 
-Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball team for their victory and advancing to the semifinals of the VPL tournament
